Is anyone else just tired of eating fatty, salty, sugary foods that become ubiquitous this time of year? While we were clamoring for the pies, the sweets, and the heavy meat, we’re definitely tired of feeling heavy and tired right now. If you’re feeling the same way, and looking for ways to support your New Year’s Resolution of losing some of those extra pounds, keep reading. We’re here to help you make the right food choices in the New Year.

Eating Right

It may seem easy to simply give up the food that isn’t healthy for you. But, it rarely is. So many of us associate the fast food, homemade goodies, and sweet treats with our youth, and that can be a hard association to overcome. Don’t expect to make sweeping changes over night. Instead, work toward making better choices every day, and don’t beat yourself up if you make a mistake.

For example, you can start by simply cutting out sugary sodas from your diet, and yes, you should also skip diet sodas. Replacing soda with water will help you reset your tastebuds, and will keep you from feeling overwhelmed (which can happen when you overhaul your entire diet all at once).

The Right Diet Supports Your Exercise Goals

Did you know that health experts claim that a healthy regime is 75% diet and 25% exercise? Eating right is key to helping you lose weight, so don’t spend hours at the gym if you’re just going to go home and eat junk.

If Food Isn’t Enough

Some of us may need a little more than a shift in diet and a new exercise plan to start shedding pounds. That’s why we offer the rapid Clean Start Weight Loss® Program, which  includes prescription hormone injections (which do require a licensed healthcare provider who can prescribe medications for safety). We support your healthy overall by asking that you complete a full medical history, and require that you get lab testing to ensure the program is safe and will work for you before you begin.

If you’re ready to make decisions to support your health, call us today at (732) 888-8255 to schedule a consultation to learn more. We would love to help you improve your health in the New Year!
